I am a practicing artist based in Ballarat, a short hour from Melbourne, arguably the cultural centre of Australia. My work is sculpturally based and focuses on installation, creating human form as a narrative and addressing issues relating to advocating for equality in recognition for female artists.
I enjoy the process of making art, the physicality of altering and shaping forms and developing materials such as stone, wood, steel and aluminium into tactile figures.
My sculpture explores what lies unseen inside the surface.
The sensitivity, the sensuality and the courage required of us all to make our way through life in the communities we live within.
